Press fit pins allow for a low resistance, high reliability solderless electrical connection between the power module and power circuit board (PCB).

In this video, you’ll see the step-by-step press-in process, including fixturing requirements and connection quality standards, for inserting Wolfspeed WolfPACK silicon carbide power modules into a PCB.

The process is identical for all WolfPACK modules, including industry standard FM and GM footprints now available in half-bridge, six-pack, and full-bridge configurations with the option of pre-applied thermal interface material (TIM).

If you’re ready to get started, you can purchase or request a sample now.
