Wolfspeed WolfPACK™ Power Module Platform: Accelerating Fast-Charger Development

The Wolfspeed WolfPACK™ power module platform simplifies the design of converter power stages, reducing development time and cost. This white paper highlights the high-level design of a 60 kW DC fast charger and shows example topologies which can be implemented to realize the system. Specifically, the active rectifier, LLC, series-resonant, and interleaved buck converter topologies are evaluated and preliminary PLECS simulations are demonstrated for each topology.
